Yes — QualifiedStudies is completely free for patients. There is no cost to search studies, complete the eligibility screener, be matched with a research site, or be contacted by a coordinator. We don't charge for premium access, faster matches, or any service. The platform is funded by the research sponsors and sites that benefit from accurate, fast patient matching. This model is similar to how mortgage brokers or insurance comparison sites work: consumers pay nothing and the supply-side pays for qualified introductions. We never charge participants for participation in a trial either — sponsors cover the cost of all study-required care. If anyone ever asks you to pay to join a trial or to access a 'special' study, that's a red flag. QualifiedStudies will never request payment for matching, screening, or enrollment.
